What is Brainspotting

Brainspotting locates a point(s) in your visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma / stuck emotion in the subcortical brain.  See Brainspotting for more information.

How is Brainspotting different?

Brainspotting uses relational attunement and your field vision to access your brain’s self-scanning and self-healing capabilities. There is little or no requirement to talk through your issue, which avoids retraumatization. This is a gentle and nurturing way of accessing and healing even deep issues.

When is Brainspotting right for me?

Do you have a recurring issue you can't seem to solve? Like a recurring pattern, even in a different environment or with a different person? Or is there an upset you can't seem to shake? Perhaps its a concern you've already done a lot of self-reflection / work on, but it's not quite where you'd like it to me. Brainspotting can help with all of these.

Can Margot do a Brainspotting session if she is not yet Certified?

Yes, having completed the Phase 1 and 2 Brainspotting training with Dr Mark Grixti from BSPUK, I am sufficiently trained to safely conduct Brainspotting sessions. Becoming Certified is optional - an option I have elected to pursue as I see such value in this work and want to offer it in the best way I can. Becoming Certified also means I have regular supervision and keep up to date with all the new evolutions of the work.
